About Us
The Society for Serving
Humanity is a Non-Governmental Organisation, established
in the year 1988. This SSH has been registered in the same year
in the Sub-Registrar’s Office, Dindigul and with the Home Ministry
of Indian Government in the year 1994. This Society is functioning
in Sempatti of Nilakottai taluk as its head Quarters. The Society
for Serving Humanity functions amidst the poor people living
below poverty line. 90% of our target people are Dalits living
in villages of Athoor, Dindigul, Reddiarchatram, Nilakottai
and Batalagundu Unions of Dindigul District: and 120 villages
of Namakkal, Mahnoor, Puduchatram and Eurmaipatti Unions in
Namakkal District, Tamilnadu, India. SSH functions with the
objective of liberating and developing all the people who are
politically, socially, economically and culturally depressed.
Mr. Brittto Selvaraj, has been the
Secretary/Director of this Organisation called the Society for
For Serving Humanity. Many philanthropic Agencies have given him
awards in appreciation of his services like;

Over the last 17
years, SSH has organised the people of the villages into 'Sangams',
that is women Associations and has created in them the habit
of saving, He has engineered an economic revolution. That has
promoted the self reliance of the people.

Promotion of Ecological Balance
and formation of a Hunger free/disease free communities among
the women and children of SC/BC families based on fraternal
love, equality and justice.
Mission
Promotion of a sustainable
Hunger free/disease free communities and Eco-environment among
the small farmers and agricultural labourers, particularly women
and children of SC/BC people through group organization building
and networking with other like-minded NGOs and Federation (TN
and other states)
