Community Based Rehabilitation Programme for Women and Children

Creating a health and wealthy community

This programme creates awareness and educates the community on the prevention measures of HIV/ AIDS and avenues to generate income. In addition, we provide education, vocational training and strengthen a network of children called ‘Little Flower Children’(LFC).

Bringing in additional income

We also provide food and nutrition to the community to maintain good health and have initiated a revolving fund to PLHAs – People Living with HIV/ AIDS once they become members of our local SHGs – Self Help Group.

Key Achievements

  • 150 PLHAs were inducted into local SHGs
  • 20 children’s club have been formed and strengthened
  • 30 PLHAs were trained to make vermin compost and arecanut plates which brings in regular income
  • 50 PLHAs get handful of rice from SHGs
