Community Gives Back
At SSH, the staff enthusiastically takes the challenge to raise an agreed amount every year. The management and staff observe a particular day as Local Resource Mobilisation Day. Prior to this day, both the management and staff raise funds in various ways.
In 2009-2010, we raised a total of Rs 3,73,655 (Rs 1,70,000 from Dindigul and Rs 2,03,655 from Dindigul Districts).
We raise funds from:
Faith based organisations, School teachers, Community members, Anganwai workers, Self-help groups and Bharathi Women Federation, Panchayat Presidents, Ward Members, Village Administrative Officers, Poultry Owners Association, Lorry Owners Association, Lions Club, Rotary Club, Youth Club, Hundies in schools and colleges, Medical Associations, Jewellery Shops, Textiles and Stationary shops.
