Murugeshwari, aged 27, a PLHA, abandoned by her husband, lives with her seven year old son. Her son too is HIV positive.
She approached SSH for support. We initially supported her son’s education and other basic needs.
Murugueshwari attended our income generation training in tailoring, milch animal rearing. Besides, she got training to prepare disinfectants at Gandhigram Rural Institute. Now with all the three small initiatives, she is able to send her son to school, provide nutritional food and managed the household well.
