Cultivating hope

“I had nothing. My children suffered. And I felt there was nothing to look forward in life. But, after SSH motivated and inspired me to start a small business, I knew things are going to turn positive. The loan allowed me to do things I could not do otherwise because I did not have the capital,” says Sundari. Her children are in school; her family has three meals a day and she saves Rs.500 a month.

Sundari is from Mettupatti village in Dindigul district with her two children.
